读《圆明园的毁灭》有感

今天我读了《圆明园的毁灭》一文，心情澎湃，觉得火烧圆明园是历史上一个莫大的耻辱。

Today, I read the article "the destruction of the Old Summer Palace". I was in a high mood and felt that burning the Old Summer Palace was a great shame in history.

文中讲述了1860年8月份，英国和法国联合侵犯我们的首都北京，并到圆明园内把各种奇珍异宝统统掠走，最后竟用大火将圆明园化成灰烬。

In August 1860, the United Kingdom and France invaded our capital, Beijing, and plundered all kinds of treasures in the Old Summer Palace. At last, the Old Summer Palace was turned into ashes by fire.

就当我读到“英法联军侵入北京，闯进圆明园。他们把园内凡是能掠走的东西统统掠走，拿不动的，就用大车或牲口搬运。实在运不走的，就任意破坏，毁掉”时，我肺都气炸了。我仿佛看到那些前来侵略的敌人们见到园中的奇珍异宝都惊呆了，疯狂地将贵重的物品占为己有，他们的腰包都塞得满满的。要是遇到那些比较重的瓷器，他们拿不走，可恶的敌人就用牲口搬运或用棍子将这些瓷器打碎。他们如此无法无天，就是因为当时的中国太落后了，再加上没有什么先进的武器，所以才处处受到各国侵略者的欺负。

When I read "the British French invasion of Beijing, into the Yuanmingyuan. They took away all the things that could be taken away from the garden. If they could not take them, they carried them with carts or animals. If I can't get rid of it, I will destroy it at will. "When I did, my lungs exploded. I seem to see that the enemies who came to invade were shocked to see the rare treasures in the garden, crazy to take the precious things for themselves, and their pockets were full. If they can't take the heavier porcelain, the hateful enemy will carry it with animals or smash it with sticks. They were so lawless, because China was too backward at that time, and there were no advanced weapons, so they were bullied by invaders from all over the world.

我继续往下读，当我读到“三千多名侵略军奉命在园内放火。大火连烧三天，烟云笼罩整个北京城”时，我咬牙切齿地说：“这些禽兽不如的东西！”他们不仅仅把我国收藏的文物掠走，为了销毁罪证，英、法两国的侵略者还把我国这一园林的瑰宝，建筑艺术的精华化为灰烬。

I went on to read when I read that "more than 3000 aggressors were ordered to set fire in the garden. When the fire lasted for three days and the smoke and cloud covered the whole Beijing City, I gnashed my teeth and said, "these animals are inferior to things!" They not only take away the cultural relics collected in China, but also destroy the evidence of their crimes. The invaders of Britain and France also turn the essence of Chinese garden and the essence of architectural art into ashes.

读了『圆明园的毁灭』一文，让我深深地认识了“落后就得挨打”这一不变的真理。它在时时刻刻地激励着我们：为了我们的祖国，一定要好好读书，让知识武装我们的头脑，让我们的祖国更加强大！

Reading "the destruction of Yuanmingyuan", I have a deep understanding of the unchanging truth that "if we fall behind, we will be beaten". It inspires us all the time: for our motherland, we must study hard, let knowledge arm our mind, and make our motherland stronger!
