我的发现

星期天，我和几个表哥及朋友去我姨丈的农场。农场全部都是养龟的。

On Sunday, I went to my uncle's farm with some cousins and friends. The farms are all tortoises.

去到那里，只一个个养龟的池塘呈现在眼前。那里真大啊！我们可以看见一些龟在泥土里挖洞生蛋。看，它们生完蛋后，把蛋埋起来就下水里不管了。刚好那天是最后一天收蛋期，我们看见了阿姨们正忙着收蛋。她们首先拿一个铲子翻松泥土，然后，把蛋夹起来，“为什么要把蛋夹起来？”我问了阿姨，原来收蛋时不能用手检，只能用筷子夹。如果手一碰那蛋就有可能孵不出小乌龟来，所以要用筷子夹。

When I got there, there were turtle ponds in front of me. What a big place! We can see some turtles digging holes in the soil to lay eggs. Look, when they've laid their eggs, they bury them in the water. It happened to be the last day of egg harvest. We saw aunts busy collecting eggs. First they take a shovel to loosen the soil, and then they pick up the eggs. "Why do they pick up the eggs?" I asked my aunt. I couldn't check the eggs by hand. I had to use chopsticks. If you touch the egg with your hand, you may not be able to hatch a turtle, so use chopsticks to clamp it.

看完捡龟蛋，我又去孵龟房观看。我看见孵龟房里在许多龟蛋埋在营养泥里。我想是怎样才能孵出小乌龟？于是，我在那里观察。我发现乌龟跟人有一模一样的东西，就是人一出生肚脐就有一个东西没有收进去，乌龟也一样，也是要十几天才能收进去。

After watching the turtle eggs, I went to the hatchery to watch. I saw a lot of eggs buried in nutritious mud in the hatchery. How can I hatch a turtle? So I watched there. I found that as like as two peas, there is one thing that a human has not got into the navel. The turtle is also the same. It takes more than ten days to collect it.

通过这次观察乌龟，我发现了人用手捡龟蛋会孵不出小龟和乌龟与人有一个相同的特点——刚出生时突肚脐。

Through this observation of tortoises, I found that people pick up eggs by hand can not hatch small tortoises and tortoises have the same characteristics with people - bulging navel at birth.
