法国梧桐树

今天下午的第四节课，老师让我们观察了校园里一棵高大的法国梧桐树。

In the fourth lesson this afternoon, the teacher let us observe a tall Wutong tree on the campus.

我从高处看，它像一座花坛。它的叶子有黄了的、有干枯了的，还有绿的，还有一半黄一半绿的。真美呀！

It looks like a flower bed to me from a high place. Its leaves are yellow, dried, green, and half yellow and half green. How beautiful it is!

我到楼下看的时候，发现它身上又像穿上了一件大花袄。梧桐树的树顶尖尖的，上面的叶子还是绿的，就像戴了一顶小绿帽。我们班的同学都摘它的叶子，它好像很不高兴。它的树干从上到下都是直的。它长的很美！这就是我观察的法国梧桐树。

When I went downstairs to see it, I found that it was like wearing a big flower jacket. The tops of the trees are pointed, and the leaves above are still green, just like wearing a little green hat. All the students in our class pick its leaves. It seems very unhappy. Its trunk is straight from top to bottom. It's beautiful! This is the Chinese Wutong tree I observed.
