Over the last few days, we have seen frenzied scenes of shoppers in supermarkets scrambling over each other to get their hands on basic essentials due to coronavirus fears. In one dramatic case a 56-year-old man was allegedly robbed for the toilet roll he bought moments earlier.

According to MyLondon, these are the 13 items that people are filling their supermarket trolleys with which has caused some retailers, such as Aldi, to put restrictions in place. Anyone shopping in Aldi can only buy four of each product to ensure it's a level playing field.
