谢谢 Michelle 的问题。虽然 due 是一个只有三个字母，看上去很简单的单词，但是它却有很多个含义。在接下来几分钟里我们来分析一下 due 这个在英语环境中使用频率相当高的单词。首先 due 有三个词性：形容词、名词和副词 。

我们先来说说形容词 due。形容词 due 有三个基本含义：1. 预期的、预计的；2. 金钱上应该付的或是欠付的；3. 适当的、符合常规要求的。

当我们说什么事情 to be due，也就是说这件事情预期会在什么时候发生或者应该发生，句子中会有和时间，日期有关的表示。请听例句。

The exam results are due next week.

考试成绩预期是下周出来。

A new version of the app is due to be released in December.

最新版的 app 预期十二月份就会发布了。
