YEREVAN, Oct. 25 -- The five member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), namely Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, have reached 11 agreements on enhancing their economic relations, ArmeNPRess reported Wednesday.
The agreements were reached at a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council that concluded Wednesday in Yerevan, capital of Armenia.
During the session, issues concerning internal markets and economic cooperation in agriculture, trade and infrastructure were discussed.

According to Tigran Sargsyan, chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the EEU will design projects to create branding for Eurasian joint enterprises.
"Today, it is impossible to talk about modernization of the economy and raising competitiveness without the digital agenda," said Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan during the session and added that it will decrease the expenses.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said technical obstacles impeding free movement of goods, services, labor and capital should be overcome.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev highlighted the work carried out in line with current trends so that the EEU economies could maintain competitiveness, ensuring a comfortable life and welfare for their citizens.
The next session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Sochi, Russia, in early 2018.
