BEIJING, Sept. 14 -- Bogdan Bogdanovic socred 31 points as Serbia beat Czech Republic 90-81, finishing fifth place at FIBA World Cup 2019 here on Saturday.
Czech Republic showed sharp form in the first half and took a 50-41 lead at the break before Serbia outscored their opponents 28-12 in the third quarter to retake the lead and never looked back.
Bogdan Bogdanovic had the hot hand for Serbia with 31 points, followed by 14 from Nikola Milutinov. Patrik Auda notched 16 points for Czechs. Tomas Satoransky added 13 points and 6 assists.
