害怕蜘蛛就叫外卖小哥来抓，老外的脑洞也很大！

A woman terrified of spiders called for a takeaway so the delivery driver could help get rid of one.

一名女性因害怕蜘蛛而点了外卖让快递师傅帮他赶走蜘蛛。

Demi Sweeney, a 22-year-old criminology student at Bournemouth University, spotted a huge spider outside her room last week.

上周，现年22岁就读于伯恩茅斯大学犯罪学的Demi Sweeney发现房间外面有一只巨大的蜘蛛。

Demi told that she woke up to an empty house at around 10am.

Demi说早上10点醒来时寝室空无一人。

She said she felt trapped in her room as the creature might drop onto her if she passed by.

她说，因为怕自己经过的时候，蜘蛛掉到她头上，感觉自己被困在寝室了。

As all of her housemates were away, she messaged friends and family for help. One suggested ordering food on Deliveroo and asking the delivery driver to sort the situation out.

因为她的室友都出去了，她发短信给亲朋好友求助。其中一人建议她在Deliveroo预订快餐让快递师傅来解救她。

Demi said she checked with Deliveroo first to see if drivers are allowed in customers' homes. They are.

Demi先在Dliveroo上确认快递师傅可不可以进入顾客家中，证明可以。

She decided to get KFC (and accidentally ordered two meals) and added a note on her order: "I have spoken to Deliveroo customer service, please can you help to remove a spider for me".

于是她决定点肯德基（而且一不小心点了两份）另外备注，“我和Deliveroo客服联系过了，请帮助我把蜘蛛赶走。“

Twenty minutes later, her fried chicken arrived and Demi ran downstairs to her saviour.

20分钟以后，她点的炸鸡到了，Demi下楼见她的救世主。

Unfortunately, the driver, who had seen her request, was also scared of spiders. Demi had to beg him to help.

不幸的是，这个司机看到她的备注，他自己也害怕蜘蛛，Demi只能再三央求他。

"He asked how big it was and said he would give it a go, asking where it was," she said. Demi got him loo roll and a chair to stand on as equipment.

“他问蜘蛛多大，他可以试一试，还问了蜘蛛在哪里。Demi给了他一卷纸，准备了供站立的椅子作为“捉蜘蛛”的装备。

Demi added there was a moment of panic when the spider dropped onto the floor and started running away, but it was eventually captured by the heroic driver.

Demi说有一刻她很惶恐，蜘蛛掉到了地上，开始逃跑，不过最后还是被这个英勇的送餐小哥抓住。

The driver flushed the intruder down the toilet, which left Demi too afraid to sit on it for much of the day.

快餐小哥把蜘蛛放到厕所里面冲掉，Demi那天因为害怕都没有怎么上厕所。

"I thanked him around 50 times, he kept saying this is so funny while laughing," Demi said.

“我谢了他超过50次，他一直笑着说这件事真好玩。“

"I wanted to hug him. A real life hero."

“我真想抱抱他，现实生活中的英雄。”
