White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders slammed comedienne Samantha Bee's comments about Ivanka Trump last Thursday.

"The language used by Samantha Bee last night is vile and vicious. The collective silence by the left and its media allies is appalling," Sanders said in a statement.

Bee came out with an apology, and told The Daily Beast that she "deeply regrets" calling Trump a "feckless cunt."

TBS supported Bee's apology and wrote on Twitter, "Those words should not have been aired. It was our mistake too, and we regret it."

Since her apology, at least two advertisers -- Autotrader and State Farm -- have announced they would "suspend sponsorship" of Bee's show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
