国内英语资讯:Diplomat appeals for greater understanding of China-Africa cooperation

BEIJING, July 4 -- China on Wednesday asked for an end to irresponsible statements about China-Africa cooperation.

Assistant Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong made the remarks at the opening session of the seventh China-Africa Think Tank Forum.

China's policy toward Africa is sincere and has produced real results, said Chen.

The cooperation has no political strings attached, will boost Africa's economic and social development, is economically viable and win-win in nature, he said.

China attaches great importance to debt sustainability in Africa, provides investment and financing in a responsible manner, and risks are generally under control, Chen said.
