跳水 Diving

Chen Ruolin and Liu Huixia of China won gold in the women's synchronized 10 meter platform diving event at the Rio Games. It's the third Olympic diving gold for China.

体操 Gymnastics

The American won the gold medal in the women's artisitic gymnastics team event. Russia took the silver medal and China earned bronze.

举重 weightlifting

Deng Wei of China broke two world records in the women's 63kg weightlifting to win the gold medal with a total of 262kg at the Rio Olympics on Tuesday.

Shi Zhinyong won the third weightlifting gold medal for China as he lifted a total of 352kg in the men's 69kg category.

Zhou Yilin and Zhang Yufei of China made the women's 200m butterfly semis. Zhou posted the third-best qualifying time, with teammate Zhang ranking fifth among qualifiers.

China's hot swimmer Ning Zetao failed the semifinal of the men's 100m freestyle at the 2016 Rio Olympics，ranking 12th among all swimmers.
