《琅琊榜2》将以网剧形式播出 独家落户爱奇艺

Chinese online streaming site iQiyi has struck a deal with the producers behind hit TV drama "Nirvana in Fire" to exclusively broadcast the show's second season.

中国在线视频网站爱奇艺已经和热播剧《琅琊榜》的制片方达成协议，将独家播出该剧集的第二季。

The news was announced at the China Online Drama Forum which was held in Beijing over the weekend. "Nirvana in Fire 2" will be an online drama with a premiere date set in 2017.

这一消息是在本周末于北京举行的中国网络电视剧论坛上宣布的。《琅琊榜2》将以网络剧的形式于2017年首映。

According to the show's producer Hou Hongliang, the exclusivity deal was a direct result of iQiyi's role in popularizing the show.

根据该剧的制片人侯鸿亮表示，《琅琊榜》在爱奇艺平台上的成功推广是促成本次独家授权协议的直接原因。

It's not clear at the moment if the cast will return to reprise their roles in the first season. "Nirvana in Fire" gained huge fandom last year, with online comments crediting it as the best TV show in 2017.

不过现在还不清楚是否演员将会重新演绎他们在第一部中的角色。《琅琊榜》在去年吸引了大量的粉丝，网上的评论也将其称为2017年最好看的电视节目。

It's not the first time iQiyi has promoted its platform by offering access to an entire season of a new show to paid VIP members. The most recent success for the site was the exclusive broadcasting rights of South Korean TV drama "Descendants of the Sun".

这不是爱奇艺第一次通过提供新节目给付费VIP会员来提升自己的平台了。该网站最近成功的例子就是韩国电视剧《太阳的后裔》的独家播放权。

In addition to "Nirvana in Fire", iQiyi has also announced other eight other productions for 2017.

除了《琅琊榜》，爱奇艺还同时宣布了2017年的其他八部作品。
