2016世界幸福指数出炉！丹麦最幸福中国排83

Every year, the World Happiness Index surveys numerous people from various countries around the world in search of, as the name implies, which country has the happiest population. This year’s winner is Denmark, followed closely by Switzerland, Iceland, and Norway. The US ranked 13th.

每年，世界幸福指数都会对世界各个国家的人们进行调查，顾名思义，也就是调查哪个国家的人过的最幸福。今年丹麦登顶，其次是瑞士，冰岛和挪威。而美国排第13位。

So how do the researchers come up with this list? The process is actually rather simple, as the Index's website explains: "The rankings are based on answers to the main life evaluation question asked. This is called the Cantril ladder: it asks respondents to think of a ladder, with the best possible life for them being a 10, and the worst possible life being a 0. They are then asked to rate their own current lives on that 0 to 10 scale."

那么调研者的这张清单是如何出炉的呢？事实上，过程非常简单，有关官网是这样解释的：“排名是根据问卷中有关于主要生活质量评估的答案而得出的。这个原理叫做“坎特里尔梯子”：调查者会被要求想象一个阶梯，最好的生活是10，最坏的生活是0，然后从1到10 参照自己的生活现状进行评分。

In short, the researchers straight-up asked people to rank their own happiness. These answers are then weighted based on six other factors: levels of GDP, life expectancy, generosity, social support, freedom, and corruption.

简言之，调研者真是的要求参与者对自己的幸福进行评分。然后他们的回答会根据6个因素进行权衡：国内生产总值、寿命、慷慨度、社会支持、自由度以及贪污腐败现象。

As mentioned, Denmark leads the pack with Switzerland (last year’s winner), Iceland, Norway, Finland, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, and Sweden rounding out the top 10. The US ranks 13th, Germany 16th, and the UK 23rd.

如上面提到的，丹麦引领瑞士（去年的冠军）、冰岛、挪威、芬兰、加拿大、荷兰、新西兰、澳大利亚、瑞典包揽了前十。美国排名第13位，德国排名第16，英国排名23。

The unhappiest countries are Afghanistan at 154th followed by Togo and Syria. Burundi comes in last at 157th.

而最不幸福的国家是阿富汗，排名154，其次是多哥和叙利亚。布隆迪排名最后，157名。
