A young Spanish royal has been accused of racially abusing a student at a theme park in a row over queue jumping.

一名年轻的西班牙王室成员在主题公园插队时用种族歧视语言侮辱一名学生，因此遭到谴责。

Felipe Juan Froilán, the 16-year-old nephew of King Felipe, is said to have hurled the abuse at another pupil at the entrance to one of the rollercoasters at Parque de Atracciones in Madrid last week.

据称，菲利佩国王16岁的外甥菲利佩·胡安·弗洛兰上周在马德里主题公园的过山车入口大声侮辱一名学生。

Reports have emerged that he attempted to jump a long queue - but lost his temper when a teacher questioned his behaviour before allegedly saying: 'I'm fourth in line to the Spanish throne'.

According to the Spanish newspaper El Economista, the teenager was told that he would have to wait his turn.

But when a student from another group intervened, he is alleged to have shouted: 'You shut up, you f****** chino.” In Spain, the term 'Chino' is used to describe someone of Chinese origin.

According to the Daily Telegraph, sources close to the royal have confirmed to the newspaper that an incident happened at the amusement park. But the source denied that the teenager had used any racist or insulting terms.

Froilán is the child of King Felipe VI’s eldest sister Elena de Borbón and Jaime de Marichalar. The pair divorced in 2010.

King Felipe was crowned in June last year following the abdication of his father, King Juan Carlos.

It is not the first time Froilán has hit the headlines. In 2017, he was kicked out of school for failing his exams for a second time, the Independent reports.
