半年延迟新规定 美剧同步看成泡影

Chinese audiences will no longer be able to watch online overseas TV series at the same time they come out abroad, the Southern Metropolis Daily reports.

The State Administration of Radio, Film and Television won't allow imported TV series to be available on video websites before they are censored, according to a new regulation revealed by an unnamed Wechat account.

从一条匿名的微信账号消息透露，新规定表示：国家广播电影电视总局不允许视频网站未经审查就引进海外剧集。

The new rule will delay TV series for whole seasons before they are released with Chinese subtitles, which means Chinese audiences will watch them six months to a year later than viewers in South Korea or the United States, for example.

这项规定表示，在有中文字幕之前，整一季的剧集都会被延迟，这就意味的，举个例子而言，中国观众要比韩国或者美国的观众迟6个月到一年的时间看到剧集。

Many American series contain violent or sensitive scenes that will likely be deleted.

许多包含了暴力敏感场景的美剧很有可能被删除。

The regulation may lead some American TV series to not be seen in China at all, analysts said.
