不只是玩具 乐高助残疾乌龟自由行走

Blade the tortoiseis no slowcoach anymore, after being fitted with a special Lego 'Wheelchair' to help him get around.

The tiny tortoise lost the use of his legs due to a litany of woes, including a growth disorder that caused his limbs to become so weak he couldn't hold himself up.

这只小乌龟因为一连串的问题导致了他的腿脚残疾了，包括成长障碍导致他的四肢变得非常脆弱，几乎无法把他支撑起来。

Blade's owner Iris Peste, from Germany, took him to the vet after noticing that he was struggling to move around.

Vet Dr Carsten Plischke then toyed with the idea of making Blade a Lego wheelchair.

Borrowing from his son's collection, Mr Plischke fitted two sets of wheels to the underside of Blade's shell so that he could then use his legs to propel him forward.

Thankfully, the solution is not a permanent one as Blade is expected to regain the use of his legs.

Dr Plischke said: 'For people there are walkers, rollators or prostheses but for animals there are no companies that produce something like that'.
