Grand Slam winner Li Na has announced her retirement from tennis.

大满贯得主李娜宣布退役。

The 32-year-old won the Australian Open in January to add to her 2011 French Open title.

32岁的李娜今年1月赢得了澳网冠军，2011年她还夺得法网冠军。

However, the world number six has not played since losing in the third round at Wimbledon in June.

但在今年6月举行的温网比赛中，世界排名第六的李娜在第三轮就被淘汰。此后再未参加比赛。

State broadcaster CCTV said Li was retiring because of knee injury concerns.

中央电视台主持人指出，李娜退役的原因是膝伤。

Li became a national sporting hero in China after becoming Asia's first grand slam singles champion and only America-based Russian Maria Sharapova has higher off-court earnings, according to the Forbes list of highest paid female athletes.

在成为亚洲首位大满贯单打冠军后，李娜被认为是中国体育英雄。福布斯女运动员收入榜中，只有居住在美国的俄国人莎拉波娃的场外收入超过李娜。
