美国2人衰败小镇 40万美元贱卖

A small town in rural South Dakota is now for sale at $400,000.

南达科他州边远的一座小镇现挂牌出售，标价40万美元。

The unincorporated hamlet called Swett comes with a bar, workshop, three trailers and single house all on 6.16 acres.

这座独立小镇叫做斯威特，镇上有一间酒吧、一家作坊、三座流动房屋和一栋独立屋，共占地6.16英亩。

Local businessman Lance Benson owns the town, and is selling to focus on his traveling concession company.

'Like I say, I hate to get rid of it. If I don't sell it, if I don't sell it this first year, I would probably keep it,' Mr Benson told the Rapid City Journal.

Swett is two hours southeast of Rapid City and had a population of about 40 in the 1940s.

The town got its name from a local farmer who owned the grocery store. The post office was in the store so the town became known as Swett.

But the population dwindled and today it's just Benson, his wife and their dog Daisy who live in the house next to the bar.

Coldwell Banker broker Stacie Montgomery is selling the property, and says she's never been given such an assignment before.

Ms Montgomery told MailOnline that the town is probably lucrative for someone who wants to own and run a bar - since Swett Tavern is successful and the only watering hole for 10 miles.

The town could also go to a wealthy person who wants somewhere to stay during hunting season, she said, as Swett is a popular destination for pheasant hunting.
