英国大学生脸缠胶带 疯狂自拍照走红

'Selloptape selfies' are popping up all over Facebook, where thousands of people have been wrapping clear tape around their face to make themselves look like grotesque ogres.

“胶带缠脸自拍”在Facebook上几近风靡，上千名参与者在自己的脸上缠上透明胶带，把自己打扮成面目狰狞的食人魔。

They then upload their bizarre picture to Facebook and nominate a friend to take part in the challenge as well.

参与者们在Facebook上传这些奇特的图片，并指定自己的一个朋友参与到这项挑战中来。

The craze, which was launched on Wednesday, quickly went viral with more than 50,000 people liking the Sellotape selfie page in the first 24 hours.

自周三活动开始，短短24小时之内这些缠有透明胶带的疯狂自拍照就吸引了5000多名粉丝，大家争相点赞。

It was dreamed up by Lizzie Durley, 21, who is studying international event management at Brighton University.

英国布莱顿大学21岁的大学生莉齐发起了这项疯狂活动，她目前攻读国际项目管理专业。

'I got the idea from Jim Carrey's office scene in Yes Man,' she says.

莉齐称自己的灵感来自于电影《好好先生》中金·凯瑞在办公室里的一幕。

'I was having a bad day and remembered that scene from the film which really tickled me. I figured people were getting bored of the whole 'selfie' craze - I know I was. So I just applied the concepts of the selfie to this idea and it resulted in Sellotape selfies!'

莉齐说道：“那天我心情很糟，但是想起电影里的那一幕之后忍不住发笑。我觉得大家对普通的自拍已经厌倦了，至少我就是这样。所以我就想到了把自拍和电影场景结合，胶带自拍就这么应运而生了。”

Miss Durley presented the idea to her friends who shared it online.

莉齐把这个想法告诉了自己的朋友，他们就发布到了网上。

'The concept is applicable to literally anyone, everyone can join in, there's no risk of offence, and people just love to have a giggle.So it blew up on Facebook.'

“这样的活动任何人都可以参加，无需担心会冒犯他人，而只为博得一笑，所以才会在Facebook上受到热捧。”

Miss Durley says her 'goal' was 3,000 followers on the Facebook page.

莉齐说她当初的目标是吸引3000人参与。

'I thought even that was adventurous,' she says.'But five hours later it was on about 18,000 and by the evening, at which point we couldn't really believe how popular it was, it was at 50,000.'

“一开始我以为那个目标都不会达到，但是5小时之后就成功吸引了18000人，那天晚上人数达到50000后，我简直都不敢相信。”

Miss Durley is now being bombarded with pictures from around the country of fans' own Sellotape selfies.

现在，莉齐收到了大量来自全国粉丝的脸缠胶带照自拍。

She said: ‘Last night (Wednesday) I couldn't move from my laptop because the page was just going crazy and I had to keep up with it all!’

莉齐说：“昨天（周三）晚上，我一直没离开过笔记本电脑，贴照片的页面一直需要更新！”
