只因天太冷！美国囚犯越狱又回头

Just how cold is it in Kentucky? Apparently cold enough for an escaped prisoner to decide to turn himself in.

美国肯塔基州的天气有多冷？答案是已经冷到让越狱囚犯决定自首回监狱了。

Authorities say the inmate escaped from a minimum security facility in Lexington on Sunday. As temperatures dropped into the low single digits Monday, officials say the man walked into a motel and asked the clerk to call police.

据美国肯塔基州官方报道称，囚犯罗伯特·维克周日从安保不严的列克星顿监狱越狱。但第二天气温骤降低个位数（约-10°C），警方称，维克被迫走进一家汽车旅店，让伙计报警。

Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts says 42-year-old Robert Vick of Hartford told the clerk he wanted to turn himself in and escape the arctic air.

列克星敦警方发言人赛莱乐·罗伯茨称，42岁的哈特福特人罗伯特·维克跟店里伙计说，他想自首并逃离北极一般的寒冷天气。

Roberts says Vick was checked out by paramedics and returned to Blackburn Correctional Complex.

罗伯茨称，维克已接受医务人员检查，并且已经被遣送回布莱克本监狱。

Department of Corrections spokeswoman Lisa Lamb says Vick would have been dressed in prison-issued khaki pants, a shirt and a jacket when he escaped.

监狱发言人丽莎·兰姆说，维克逃走的时候，可能只穿了监狱发的卡其布裤子外加衬衫和夹克。

Wind chill readings were 20 below zero Monday in Lexington.

而风寒指数显示，列克星敦周一的气温已经下跌至零下20度（约-30°C）。
