只为一美元！美国青年打赌跳“浅水坑”被淹

This kid was in over his head.

A video has surfaced in which a group of friends dare a guy identified as Lakeem to jump into what was thought to be a simple puddle in the parking lot of a Family Dollar. Spoiler alert: This is not your average puddle.

在这个视频中，一群人让一名叫Lakeem的男生冒险，跳进家庭美元百货停车场的一个看似寻常的“浅水坑” 里。剧透提醒：这可不是什么一般的水塘。

“I do it for the kids,” Lakeem said before hopping, with his “nice ass shoes,” into what turned out to be a hole of unknown depth. Lakeem is completely submerged before he buoys back to the surface, to the guffaws of his friends.

“我是为了孩子们做的，” Lakeem穿着他“帅爆了”的鞋跳进水坑前说道，结果悲催地发现，这个水塘其实深不可测。Lakeem完全没入了水中，之后他浮回水面，惹得他的朋友哄堂大笑。

His friends say that they didn't realise that the puddle was so deep and had bet Lakeem a dollar to splash in it.

他的朋友表示他们并没有意识到水坑这么深，他们只是跟Lakeem打赌一美元，看他敢不敢跳进去。

“We all thought it was a puddle SWEAR TO GOD!” YouTube user AkonTpain17, who put “My Friend Almost Drowns at Family Dollar!” on YouTube, wrote on the video page.

The video has made quite the splash on the Internet. After it was posted on YouTube, it was shared on Reddit and has since gone viral.

这段视频在网上大热。在YouTube上传之后视频又被分享到资讯网站Reddit，之后红得一发不可收拾。

YouTube user RYeaks wrote in a comment on the video that he knows Lakeem and that the jump was being taped because Lakeem had just gotten new shoes.

The moral of the story? For one, don’t listen to your friends when they tell you to do stupid things. Also, with all of these sinkholes popping up, you should be wary of openings in the ground.
