私奔情侣秘密结婚 却遭报纸意外登照曝光

A couple who eloped from Scotland to England to get married in secret had their secret exposed after their photo appeared in a national newspaper.

有对情侣从苏格兰跑到英格兰去秘密结婚，结果秘密还是曝光了，因为报纸上刊登了他们的照片。

Traditionally, couples elope to Scotland to get married, but James and Sharon McGregor did things a little different.Without telling their family or friends, they traveled from Fife to Brighton for their secret wedding.

按常理说情侣们会私奔到苏格兰去结婚，不过James和Sharon McGregor和别人做得略有不同。他们瞒着所有家人和朋友，从苏格兰伐夫郡前往英格兰布莱顿举行秘密婚礼。

However, the couple had their secret blown in spectacular style when their photo appeared in a national newspaper.

然而他们的秘密婚礼曝光的方式却很出奇。曝光只因他们的婚礼期间的照片被刊登在了报纸上。

James (33) and Sharon (35) first met 14 years ago when they both worked for Butlins.They fell in love and, after spending 10 years living in Brighton, moved back to Sharon's native Scotland to settle.

33岁的James和35岁的Sharon在14年前相遇，当时他们都在Butlins公司工作。之后他们坠入爱河，在布莱顿同居十年后，搬回了Sharon的老家苏格兰定居。

Several years into the relationship James proposed and the couple set about planning their wedding.But with the costs mounting - and with the arrival of daughter Annie, now 6 - they decided their money would be better spent elsewhere.

长年相处，关系越发紧密，James终于求婚，而二人终于开始筹备婚礼。但是随着他们的女儿Annie降生，生活开销不断攀升，他们决定把钱花在更需要的地方。而今他们的女儿已经6岁了，他们才决定举行婚礼。

"My brother phoned me up saying 'your cover has been blown', and I had to meekly phone my mum up and say sorry but this is what has happened", He adds,"They [his parents] are pleased now they're getting over the shock".

“我的弟弟告诉我说一切都露馅了，所以我不得不很胆怯地给我母亲打电话，告诉她到底发生了什么。”他又补充道，“不过，我父母他们现在已经不再震惊了，而是很开心地接受了这个消息。”[

Despite the unexpected unveiling, and the discomfort of wearing a three piece suit on the hottest day of the year, James says he and Sharon wouldn't have changed a thing about their unusual wedding day.

尽管秘密是在不经意间暴露，而烈日炎炎下身穿三件式礼服相当不舒服，James仍表示若有机会，他们夫妇还是会这么举办婚礼。

He says: "The day was fantastic. It was just what we wanted".

他说：“那一天过得太奇妙了，正是我们盼望已久的。”
