Bezos is a superfan of The Expanse, having personally saved the show from cancellation when Syfy dumped it after three seasons.

Apparently he's not ready to let it go, either. Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke announced Saturday that the company has renewed the series for a fifth season.

The news comes before The Expanse is gearing up to release its first season exclusively for Amazon; Season 4 will premiere Dec. 13.
