After giving birth to four kittens in a chicken pen, a stray tabby cat has become an unlikely surrogate mother - to a clutch of hen's eggs, the Daily Mail reported.

一只流浪虎斑猫在鸡舍里生下四只小猫后，竟然破天荒的帮母鸡孵鸡蛋，成了一个“代孵妈妈”。

Lizzy the cat has made herself at home in the pen and now takes turns with the mother hen to look after the unborn chicks by keeping the eggs warm. Similarly, the hen keeps an eye on the kittens when Lizzy goes out on the prowl for food.

据英国报道，猫咪里兹在鸡舍里一直过的很惬意。现在，它和母鸡轮流照看还未出生的小鸡，总是把鸡蛋焐得暖暖的。同样的，当里兹出去逛的时候，这只母鸡也会帮她看小猫。

The bizarre babysitting arrangements have delighted children at Weston St Mary's School in Spalding, Lincolnshire, where the pen is being supervised by teaching assistants.

据悉，该鸡舍由林肯郡斯伯丁的圣玛丽学校的助教们看管，那里的孩子因猫和鸡之间这种奇怪的看护协作感到非常的惊喜。
