Adele荣获Billboard年度大满冠

Adele made music history Friday, topping three charts, as Billboard released their numbers for what they're calling the "year of the woman."

Adele在周五又为流行音乐历史添上了浓墨重彩的一笔。当Billboard公布年度登榜次数数据时，Adele荣登榜首，获得“年度女歌手”的称号。

The soul songstress became the first woman to top the Billboard 200 Album chart for her album 21, the Hot 100 song chart for her song Rolling in the Deep, and the Top Artists chart in the same year. The only other artists or musical acts to claim all three were Usher (2004), 50 Cent (2003), George Michael (1988) and the group Ace of Base (1994).

Adele's fellow female singers also made history this year, as, for the first time, the four Top Artists were women, with Rihanna, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga following Adele.
