BUENOS AIRES- Eleven people died in Argentina on Tuesday and at least 228 were injured after two trains and a public bus collided in a crash in the heart of Buenos Aires, local police said.

阿根廷首都布宜诺斯艾利斯市中心13日发生两辆城铁火车与公交车相撞事故。当地警察称，事故已造成11人死亡和至少228人受伤。

At least 50 of the wounded were "seriously injured" after the first train ran into a bus at a crossing and was derailed, at which point a second train coming from the opposite direction crashed into the train and the bus stuck at the crossing, police said.

事故发生时，城铁列车在十字路口与公交车发生碰撞出现脱轨，造成十字路口堵塞，使得另一辆逆向行驶的城铁列车又与脱轨的城铁列车和公交车再次碰撞。至少有50人在事故中严重受伤。

The accident occurred at 6:30 local time (0930 GMT) in the capital's upscale western neighborhood of Las Flores and involved two trains from the Sarmiento public railway.

这起事故发生在当地时间13日清晨6时30分（北京时间9：30），事故地点为布宜诺斯艾利斯西部的弗洛雷斯区。事故中的两辆城铁列车都属于萨米雷托公共铁路。

Gustavo Gago, spokesman for the Buenos Aires Trains company, the main train company for rail operations connecting the western suburbs of Buenos Aires with the center of the capital, said the number 92 line bus had tried to cross the rails even though the barrier was down.

布宜诺斯艾利斯火车公司是首都主要的火车公司，负责市西区与市中心的铁路运营工作。其发言人Gustavo Gago表示，事故发生时，92路公交车急于穿过铁轨，而当时道口的栏杆已经发下来了。

Police arrested the driver of the bus and held him in custody while considering what kind of charges to hold him responsible for, Gago said.

After the accident, 7 people including a boy died and 162 injured has been taken to local hospitals in Buenos Aires, including all the 50 most seriously injured, said Federal Police Chief Omar Bravo and Alberto Crescenti, the general director of the Emergency Medical Attention System (SAME).
