撒掉的布朗尼蛋糕

My wife drives a school bus.

我妻子是一位校车司机。

It’s a tougher job than most think for minimal pay

这份工作收入微薄，难度却超过大多数人的想象

but she tries her best to make her passengers happy while keeping them safe.

不过她还是尽心尽力，想让那些小乘客们既安全又快乐

One of her younger elementary students got on the bus this morning with a tray of brownies he had made for firemen

今天早上，一个搭车的小学低年纪学生上车的时候带了一盘布朗尼蛋糕，这是他为消防员们准备的

who were speaking at his school today.

今天消防员们要到他的学校里来演讲。

When they arrived at school, on his way off the bus,

he tripped and spilled the tray of brownies everywhere which of course were ruined.

He then started to cry

孩子哭了起来

because he was so upset that he had no brownies to share with the firemen .

My wife came home and made brownies

我妻子回到家里，做了一盘布朗尼

which she then dropped off at the school for him.

然后赶到学校送给了这个孩子
