The Importance of Learning History 学习历史的重要性

A large number of students hold amisunderstanding towards history study because they consider it as useless andboring. However, each subject has its own value, not excepting history.

很多学生对于学习历史都有一定的误解，因为他们觉得历史既没用也无聊。然而，每个学科都有自己的价值，历史也不例外。

There are several points accounting for myview. In the first place, history is a part of culture, which is the spiritualbackbone of a nation. Through learning history, we can appreciate the cultureof a country, as well as the history of its development, so that we canunderstand our nation better. In the second place, history learning helps us tomake correct decision. By review the history of our nation’s development, weare able to avoid some mistakes which we had made in the past and draw lessonsfrom past experience, which is helpful for us to make correct decision. Lastbut not least, we can learn some new ways of thinking from learning history. Bylearning different ways to solve problems in history, we will be the peoplewith a compressive mind.

有几点理由可以支持我的观点。首先，历史是文化的一部分，是一个民族的精神支柱。通过学习历史，我们可以看到一个国家的文化，以及它的发展史，这样我们才可以更好地了解我们的国家。第二，学习历史可以帮助我们做出正确的决定。通过回顾我国发展的历史，我们可以避免一些过去曾经犯过的错误，并从过去的经验中吸取教训，这有助于我们做出正确的决定。最后但并非最不重要的是，从历史的学习中我们可以学到一些新的思维方式。通过学习历史上不同的解决问题方法，我们会成为一个想法多多的人。

In brief, learning history is necessary andimportant. Therefore, there is no the most useful course at all, and we shouldmake effort to find out the value of each course.

总之，学习历史是有必要和重要的。所以说没有最有用的课程,我应该要找出每堂课的价值所在。
