The two sang "Hands to Myself" after Swift teased to the crowd that she was bringing "one of the realest and truest of the friends I’ve had in my entire life" to sing with her:

Swift reciprocated Gomez's sentiment in the most public of ways, posting a sweet message to her friend for her 108+ million followers to see on Instagram. "To the person I could call at any time of day, who has been there no matter what... you absolutely KILLED IT tonight and everyone was so excited to see you," Swift wrote. "I love you, and 60,000 people at the Rose Bowl loved you too."
