今年1月份以来，我国多省连续出现雾霾天气，空气多处于严重污染状态。不少网友戏称，世界末日没来，“空气末日”却来了。

上个月持续相当长一段时间的严重污染天气在上周又报复性回归，网友将其戏称为“空气末日”。这种污染天气从根本上改变了中国人对国内这里的airpocalypse和airmageddon就是“空气末日”，也可译为“末日空气”，分别由表示“世界末日”的apocalypse和armageddon两个词演化而来，意思是空气污染很严重，感觉世界末日就要来临。
