I fell in love with Yosemite National Park the first time I saw it, when I was 13. My parents took us there for camping. On the way out, I asked them to wait while I ran up to El Capitan, a __16__ rock of 3,300 feet straight up. I touched that giant rock and knew __17__ I wanted to climb it. That has been my life's passion (钟爱) ever since — __18__ the rocks and mountains of Yosemite. I've long made Yosemite my __19__.
About 15 years ago I started seeing a lot of __20__, like toilet paper, beer cans, and empty boxes, around the area. It's __21__ me why visitors started respecting the place __22__ and treated such a beautiful homelike place this way.
I tried __23__ trash (垃圾) myself, but the job was too big. I would __24__ an hour or two on the job, only to find the area trashed all over again weeks later. Finally, I got so __25__ it that I decided something had to change.
As a rockclimbing guide, I knew __26__ about organizing any big event. But in 2004,together with some climbers, I set a date for a __27__. On that day, more than 300 people __28__. Over three days we collected about 6,000 pounds of trash. It was amazing how much we were able to __29__. I couldn't believe the __30__ we made—the park looked clean!
Each year volunteers come for the cleanup from everywhere. In 2007 alone, 2,945 people picked up 42,330 pounds of trash and __31__ 132 miles of roadway.
I often hear people __32__ about their surroundings. If you are one of them, I would say the only way to change things is by __33__ rather than complaining. We need to teach by __34__. You can't blame others __35__ you start with yourself.

It wasn’t a very__10__street,so I didn’t see many people.Just as I was starting to give up,a few people stopped by my car and then helped push me out of the snow bank.It was one person at first, and then a few others.
Then,on the way to my destination, another lady got stuck.__11__,I got out and was__12__to offer the same help that I had received. At least five others joined me in my__13__to get her car unstuck. It is kind of storm that makes roads undrivable.South Bend__14__up getting over 3 feet of snow.
In these__15__of kindness though,I was once again__16__of my belief that all people are born good. These people didn’t have to stop and help me out. They ran the__17__of having their own cars stuck.Even for myself,it was a(an)__18__reaction to get out and push the lady’s car out too.I didn’t think about it__19__a second.
I believe these situations really helped remind me that this world is a good place.Real life situations can__20__good deeds. It happened today, and it will happen again and again.
