a.Ask a stronger student to show the following:
T: I can ride a bike. What about you? Can you ride a bike?
S:Yes, I can/ No, I can’t
T: I can play tennis now, but I could’t play t last year
What about you?
S: I can play it now, but I could’t play it last year. I can’t play tennis
b.Write ‘ I can play tennis now, but I could’t play it last year’ on the Bb. Mark ‘can, now, could and last year’ in red, then explain their usage.
c. Give more examples:

a. Practice in pairs, using the phrases on the Bb
b.Make dialogues with a student using can and could
c.Page82, Part A1
d.Finish PartA2 at Page83 alone.
Check their answers and read the dialogue in roles
4.Presentation
a.If you have too much homework to do, you can’t have spare time for games. So, can you play basketball today, boys? Why (not)?
