　　Deng Yaping, born in 1973, once a national ping pong athlete, is only 1.5 meters high. During her career life, she obtained 132 championships, of which includes 4 Olympic championships.

　　Although she left the sports team, yet she has still cared for the course of PE of our country and the Olympics. Because of her contribution to the Olympics and high position in it, she acted as a vice-minister of the Olympic village during the 29th Beijing Olympic Games. She kept on studying for 11 years in the universities, such as in Tsinghua University, Nottingham University and Cambridge University. Through her hard work, she received a Doctor’s degree for economy of the Cambridge eventually on December 30, 2008. As a result, she becomes the first one as an athlete who has achieved such a remarkable achievement, for which she has changed the 8-hundred-year history of the Cambridge.
