全球知名歌手走到一起共同录制了这首Love Song to the Earth来表达对联合国秘书长潘基文提出的气候变化协议的支持。参与演唱的歌手包括：Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Colbie Caillat, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, Sean Paul, Johnny Rzeznik, Krewella, Angelique Kidjo（联合国儿童基金会亲善大使）, Kelsea Ballerini, Nicole Scherzinger, Christina Grimmie, Victoria Justice以及Q’Orianka Kilcher。其中，Natasha Bedingfield和Sean Paul还参与了歌曲的创作。9月11日，这首歌曲正式在全球各大音乐平台发布。
