近些年在中国各大城市，越来越多的医院和专科诊所开始提供干细胞治疗，但几乎没有科学证据支持此疗法，此疗法目前还处在实验阶段。中国卫生部日前要求，停止所有未获批的干细胞治疗和临床研究，政府将对该领域开展规范整顿工作。
