体坛英语资讯：Santos lends striker Madson to Atletico-PR

The Atletico-PR soccer team announced on Friday its first reinforcement for the 2011 season. Santos decided to loan striker Madson to the team throughout next year.

Atletico-PR's director of soccer Walmor Zimermann announced the transaction. The director traveled to conclude the deal personally at Santos' headquarters.

Atletico-PR previously attempted to bring in Madson during the 2010 season. However, Santos was not interested at the time in releasing the player. Now, without room on the team, Madson has been reduced to the reserves.

Due to disciplinary issues, Madson will not take part in Santos' last game of the Brazilian Championship at home against Flamengo on December 5. He entered vacations early and will now prepare for his move to Atletico-PR.
