体坛英语资讯：Federer to meet Chela at second round in Toronto

 Former world No. 1 Roger Federer will meet Juan Ignacio Chela in his Toronto Masters second round after the Argentine beat Alejandro Falla 6-0, 6-3 in the first round on Monday.

Third-seeded Federer has not met Chela since 2006, but owns a 4-0 record of the 30-year-old South American, winning eight of nine sets. Their last meeting came in the 2006 Rome first round.

Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine beat French Richard Gasquet 7-5, 6-1. The defeat was the second in a row for Gasquet on hardcourt after reaching the clay Gstaad final eight days ago.

Stakhovsky will meet Wimbledon finalist Tomas Berdych in the second round.

Leading seeds go into action on Tuesday after opening round byes.
