Argentine basketball player Luis Scola said that his Chinese teammate Yao Ming "is probably the best player", with whom he had played in the same team and stressed his "ethics at work."

During an interview to Xinhua, Scola said that he had "a good time" during his recent visit to China and he was "impressed" by his popularity in that country.

Scola said that Yao "is a wonderful player" and he was "amazed for the way he plays, because it is impressive, but the most surprising thing is his ethics at work. It is amazing how he works, despite his high status and money."

Scola also hailed Yi Jianlian and said that he "is at a wonderful level, I like how he plays and I think he will have a great career."

About his trip to China he said that he had a "good time. I went to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Harbin and Nanjing. It was wonderful."

He also said that when he "signed a contract with the sports company Anta, I though it would be a good opportunity to spread my image in a different country, but I had never thought it will happen at these levels. The truth is that I enjoy it a lot."
