Italian champions Inter Milan will try to extend Wesley Sneijder's contract and give the Dutch midfielder a substantial pay rise considering possible offers from rival clubs, Dutch daily De Telegraaf reported on Wednesday.
De Telegraaf quoted Sneijder's agent, Soren Lerby, as saying that Inter technical director Marco Branca had invited the player to "sit around the table" and discuss a new contract when the World Cup is over.
Sneijder's current contract will expire in 2013. Inter want to extend it to 2015, the daily reported.
Manchester United are reportedly interested in the midfielder.
