Victoria Beckham is under fire for posting a photo kissing her 5-year-old daughter, Harper, on the lips.

Beckham posted the photo for her daughter’s birthday, writing “Happy Birthday baby girl. We all love you so much.”

Hope she gets so passionate with @davidbeckham.” Social etiquette expert Liz Brewer told the BBC that she found the photo “uncomfortable.”

“Normally with a member of your family you don’t kiss on the lips unless it’s your husband,” Brewer said. “With children, I wouldn’t have thought it’s a particularly good habit to get into but it’s her child and she’s at liberty to do what she thinks is best.”

And, in a poll conducted by “Today,” an overwhelming 75 percent of people responded yes to the question, “Do you think it’s okay to kiss your children on the lips?”
