Why does the wedding veil cover the bride\'s face throughout the ceremony in the West? The explanations below are　some of the reasons for you.

The custom of the wedding veil should predate wedding dress by centries.One of the explanations for this is that during the times of arranged marriages,the bride\'s face was covered until the groom was committed to her at the ceremony.
