英语四级写作八善原则

　　善补 　　《四书》十九章有云：博学之，审问之，慎思之，明辨之，笃行之。这说的是为学的几个层次，或者说是几个递进的阶段。为学首先要广泛的猎取，培养充沛而旺盛的好奇心;其次，有所不明就要追问到底，要对所学加以怀疑。再次，问过以后还要通过自己的思想活动来仔细考察、分析;再者，要运自己的价值观去思辨，因为学是越辩越明的;最后，既然学有所得，就要努力践履所学，使所学最终有所落实，做到知行合一。 　　以上的15个字巧妙的运用了写作中的平行结构写法。那么什么是平行结构呢?它的定义是这样的：平行结构又叫排比，它将两个或两个以上意义相关、层次相同、句法功能相同的词、词组、分句等成串排列，以表达同类的行为、思想、概念的一种结构序列。它可以大致分为以下几类： 　　动宾结构叠用： 　　Gratitude improves our personality, shapes our character, and molds our temperament. 　　感激提升个性，形成品格，塑造气质。 　　名词叠用： 　　I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but the content of their character. 　　我梦想有一天，我的四个孩子将生活在一个不是以他们皮肤的颜色，而是以他们品格的优劣来评价他们的国度里。 　　Education is the transmission of civilization, the main defense of nations, the discovery of ignorance. 　　教育是文明的传播，国家的主要防护，探索无知的进程。 　　形容词叠用： 　　For another, if a person is diligent and determined, he will realize his dream no matter how poor, humble, or unlucky he may be. 　　另一方面，一个人若是勤奋并且意志坚定，那么无论他多么穷苦，卑微或是不幸，他最终会实现他的梦想。 　　动词叠用： 　　Read not to contradict and confute; nor to believe and take for granted; nor to find talk and discourse; but to weigh and consider. 　　读书既不能吹毛求疵，也不能轻信尽信，更不能为了猎取谈话资料而断章取义，而应为了省察和思考。 　　其他叠用： 　　I am confident to be not only healthy in body but also intelligent in mind. 　　我相信我不仅会拥有健康的体魄，而且还拥有机智的头脑。 　　正如在《四书》中的应用一样，平行结构是英文中也是比较古老的写作方法;能够巧妙地运用平行结构的写法，同学们则可以养成比较正规的英文写作习惯。如果平时注意积累，那么在真正的考试的时候就能写出高人一等的高水平文章。
