　　【What day is it today?】

　　What day is it today?今天是星期几？

　　　这是一个询问星期几的句型，句中的it是时间，day 是星期，也可以用What day is today?来提问。回答时可用It is today.或Today is .例如：

　　What day is it today?It is Sunday.

　　今天是星期几？今天是星期天。

　　What day is today?Today is Monday.

　　今天是星期几？今天是星期一。

　　各星期几的单词：

　　Sunday 星期天

　　Monday 星期一

　　Tuesday 星期二

　　Wednesday 星期三

　　Thursday 星期四

　　Friday 星期五

　　Saturday 星期六

　　星期的名称是专有名词，第一个字母必须大写。

　　【Lets stay at home today.】

　　Lets stay at home today.让我们呆在家里。

　　句中的stay 表示逗留，呆，是一个不及物动词，后面接介词短语或副词表示地点场所。例如：

　　Please stay here with me.

　　请留下和我呆在一起。

　　How many weeks do you want to stay here?

　　你想在这儿呆几周？

　　It is Sunday.Well stay at home and play.

　　今天是星期天，我们将留在家里玩耍。

　　【Sorry,sorry,Polly says sorry.】

　　Sorry,sorry,Polly says sorry.对不起，对不起，Polly说对不起。

　　Say sorry 表示道歉，表示向某人道歉可加介词短语，To say sorry to.句型中的sorry 也可用其它如hello,thanks,yes,no等词。例如：

　　You should say sorry to your friend.

　　你应该向你的朋友道歉。

　　Please say hello to your father and mother.

　　请向你父母亲问好。

　　You can say no to my idea.

　　你可以不同意我的观点。

　　【I want to go to the shop.】

　　I want to go to the shop.我想去商店.

　　I want to.我想去干。to 的后面接动词，这是一个不定式。例如：

　　I want to help him.

　　我想帮助他。

　　What do you want to study?

　　你想学习什么？

　　I want to stay here.

　　我想留在这儿。

　　【I think the shop is closed at this time of day.】

　　I think the shop is closed at this time of day.我想每天的这个时候商店都不开门。

　　句中的closed 是形容词，意思是关着的，注意它和close 的区别。Close 是动词，意思是关。closed 和close 的反义词都是open ,open 即是形容词又是动词。例如：

　　I think the shop is closed today.

　　我想商店今天关门着。

　　Please close the door.

　　请把门关上。

　　The books on the desk are open.

　　桌子上的书打开着呢。

　　Open your books at page 11.

　　打开你们的书，翻到十一页。

　　【Can I borrow your ruler?】

　　Can I borrow your ruler?我能借你的尺子吗？

　　borrow 是一动词，表示借进，借来，后面可接介词from 的短语，表示从借来，例如：

　　Can I borrow your books?

　　我能借你的书？

　　We can borrow a football from Class 12.

　　我们可以从十一班借一个足球。

　　【But please give it back soon.】

　　But please give it back soon.但是请早一点送回来。

　　Back 副词，表示返回，give it back 把它送回来，如果句中的it 不是代词，而是名词，名词则可以写在back 的后面。例如：

　　Please give back my dictionary.

　　请还给我的词典。
