For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on the importance of having a sense family responsibility. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

It is time, at last, to speak about the truth of a sense of family responsibility, and the truth is this. A sense of family responsibility is really not such an optional quality in today's society.

A sense of family responsibility is indispensable in two ways. For one thing, it is the basis of a family relationship. Lacking a sense of family responsibility and hence weighing personal interests over those of the family's will definitely cause discord and, in many cases, divorce, especially when the other party properly fulfills his/her duty. Such disregard for family responsibility also jeopardizes the well-being of the kid(s) in the family. Young children are left at home uncared for, or even end up as orphans. For another, the increasing number of individualists and their victims who are abandoned and end up alone unwillingly means a higher risk of social instability and significantly greater burden on the government, and consequently unfairly on every individual in this society.

From my perspective, it is crucial that every individual should cultivate a sense of family responsibility. Only in this way can we enjoy being a part of the family, bring happiness to those who we care for, set a good example for our kids, and create a harmonious society.
