Recently，we can hear the melodious sounds of the lovely QQ penguin out of cell phones almost everywhere on campus.Those cell phone users are actually communicating with their friends through their mobile QQ. This new means of instant messaging technology has gradually gained its popularity among college students.Micromessage, another form of instant messaging technology.also receives vied usage among college cell phone users.

In comparison with the text message usage.mobile QQ is much cheaper.Users are only charged by the total network flows.As to micromessage.users can send free text messages.What’s more.this mobile instant messaging technology also brings more convenience.With these mobile services，users do not need to type on the desktop computer or laptop.In consequence，without worrying about the cell phone fees， users are able to enjoy the pleasure of instant chatting almost everywhere.

However，mobile instant messaging services should not be embraced wholly with open arms.When mobile QQ softwares are downloaded to cell phones，they can create a serious security breach，for crackers may plant virus in the program.
