Mute English Among Chinese Students

With the rapid development of society, exchanges and cooperation between countries are showing an upward tendency. Thus, English, as a carrier of information and a tool of communication, has played an increasingly important role. However, in English learning, the so-called mute English is a prevalent phenomenon in China, which means most students are paying more attention to written English than to oral English.

This phenomenon results from an ocean of reasons. In the educators' view, under the exam-oriented education system, in order to improve enrollment rate, teachers are not encouraged to spend a lot of time on the teaching of spoken English. From the students' viewpoints, entrance pressure is one aspect, but the very problem lies in that they are embarrassed to speak English in public.

In my opinion, it's high time that we focused more on mute English. My View on Customer Service

In recent years, due to intense competition between businesses, the status of customers has got a rise invisibly. People in all walks of business regard “Customer foremost and service first” as their service tenet and top priority. On a personal note, I deem it is advisable to do so. Because the enterprise clearly knows how important it is to build up a good rapport with its customers. In other words, if a company cannot provide better service, it will inevitably go bankrupt in the fierce marketplace.

What can companies do to handle their relationship with customers? First of all, as for market strategy, a company should try its best to retain present customers by supplying up-to-date service. Meanwhile, a company continues to dig out the potential customers. It is obvious that the customers are the sources for a company to make a significant profit. Besides, in the face of fierce commercial environment, it is the quality of service that determines whether the customer remains with the company.

To summarize, it is rather important for a company to improve its service quality and maintain the long-term sustainable relationship with its customers.
