RABAT, March 26 -- The visiting Argentine national football team defeated Morocco 1-0 in a friendly Tuesday night in the Moroccan city of Tangier.
The sole goal of the game was scored after a brilliant move from Atletico Madrid player Angel Correa at the 83 minute.
Morocco had better ball possession, at 57 percent, but they were unable to convert their possession to goals.
The game was affected by strong winds hitting the Mediterranean city of Tangier.
The match is a part of the two teams' build-up for upcoming competitions in their respective continents. It was the third victory for Argentina against Morocco in friendlies after a 3-1 win in 1994 and a 1-0 victory in 2004.
