The Chinese Exclusion Act, approved in 1882 in Congress and lasted for 60 years, was the first and the only federal law in US history that excluded a single group of people from immigration on no basis other than their race. It explicitly banned Chinese workers from immigration and existing residents from naturalization and voting.
1882年美国国会通过的《排华法案》是美国历史上第一个、也是唯一一个针对某一族裔的移民排斥法案，该法案直到60年后才被废除。该法明确禁止华人移民美国、加入美国国籍和拥有选举权。
