For this part, you are allowed thirty minutes to write an essay entitled The Way to Success by commenting on Abraham Lincolns famous remark, Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.
本次作文阅卷注意事项：
1.本次作文话题既考理解，又考表达，包括以下两部分：
（1） The way to success comment on Lincolns remark
如果只谈第一部分，没有第二部分的评论，最高不超过9分。
一定要把林肯的话直接或间接地说出来，同意与否无所谓。即磨刀不误砍柴工的观点应表达出来。
如没有提到林肯的话，但明白其中的含义，文中围绕preparation来谈，适当降一个档次，或2-3分。
2.关于内容的表述：
14分的作文一定要完全切题，对题目的要求即preparation对重要性理解充分，一定要有核心的内容。
11分的作文提到了林肯的话，但可能从广义上去理解sharpening the axe。
8分的作文提到了林肯的话，但理解不一定正确
5分的作文基本切题，只要能够写出the way to success就可以。
