　　Todays advice comes from Autodesk Inc. CEO Carl Bass:

　　I think its real easy as a leader to confusewhat the results are today with the actions that happened a while ago, because then you just start coasting.

　　我认为作为领导者真的很容易混淆过去的行为与该行为所产生的结果，那就意味着你已经开始走下坡路了。

　　Bass says the problem is that companies use factors like revenueand profit to measure their success, but its possible that these things are still positive even after a company has lost its original spark.

　　Bass表示，问题就在于公司总是在用绩效和收益来衡量公司的成功与否。但是，计时在公司出现问题之后，这些东西可能还是显示良好。

　　Ive been spending a lot more time trying to quantifyor figure out if what were doing is right, or whether what were really doing is just celebrating the result of things that happened a while ago.
